Start of School
Thursday, September 18th, 2008I’m making an effort to start writing again. Let’s hope it doesn’t fail this time.
School started again two weeks ago. As luck would have it, I got sick on the second day of classes, which rendered me largely incapable of doing anything significant up until recently. Nevertheless, I somehow managed to:
- Make it to most of my classes, except for some 8:30am lectures, which I kind of regret, but have a legitimate excuse for not attending.
- Get the Math Society up and running for the Fall term. Still working on that, but at least we’re not completely failing. More details on my MathSoc stuff later.
- Bring my work report to a presentable state for last Tuesday’s deadline.
- Finish and hand in my first assignment of the term.
The courses I’m taking are
- STAT241 - Statistics
- CO456 - Game Theory
- CS371 - Intro to Computational Math
- CS454 - Distributed Systems
- CS486 - Intro to Artificial Intelligence
So no non-math electives this term; that’s the way I like it.
